Now you can transform your ipod touch into iphone. Go Solar has signed a deal with a Chinese developer Yosion to bring Apple Peel 520 to USA. I am personally looking forward to this and will review this product as soon as i get my hands on it. So far there are few known bugs, but hopefully all these bugs will be fixed when the official release is out. Apple Peel is like a cover for your ipod, which basically includes a battery (800mAh), vibrator, dock connector, speaker to listen from, and a base band chip.

Functions:
- Make/receive calls
- send/recieve SMS

Cant DO:
- 3g (data)
- MMS

So much for the iPhone. Leave a reply let me know what you guys think.

What do you get When you hire the best people to make a phone/OS, you get Windows Phone 7. Microsoft is making big waves with their new product knows as the Windows Phone 7. Microsoft has come back with completely and fully redesigned Windows Mobile when compared to its predecessor, even though i believe windows mobile 6.5 was great but this is just AMAZING. Its a new beginning for Microsoft in the mobile market. Microsoft has taken right steps in the right direction which can lead to success. MS has set new standards in the mobile market. This imposes a great pressure on other companies like Apple.

From what there has been shown, This phone is very consumer orientated, A fully new User Interface none like we have seen before and of course fulfills all your social needs aka Facebook, twitter, and others (live updates). The one question arises is that, is it for both consumer and business? and the answer to that is yes because its Windows Mobile so it comes with applications like “Microsoft Office mobile”. Companies who haven’t updated to RIM, because of licenses and other issues and they stayed with Windows Mobile, these companies will be excited to hear this news.

The User Interface seems to be very user friendly (multi-touch), on the main screen there are shortcuts known as live tiles and these tiles leads to what is known as “hubs”, hubs include office, games, online market place, music, social networking and etc . You can also customize the main screen to your needs by simply dragging, adding or deleting tiles. Windows Phone 7 is packed with features like being able to sync music and videos using Zune HD software, Xbox live account on your phone with the 3d live avatar, this means you can keep track of achievements of your friends and  mobile version of Xbox Live games, also Bing Maps which includes navigation, 3d maps, street view, and real-time traffic updates.

The phone has set to release by the end of the year so keep your eyes and ears open, cause this can be or may be is the next big thing. Microsoft has proven it self to be the leader of mobile market yet again.

Windows mobile 6.5.3 clean version without sense ui by Benko (xda) on HTC Diamond. Its better than having sense ui to slow down the phone, well atleast in my opinion it is, and looks better. Windows Mobile 6.5.3 runs really smooth even with music playing in the background and other tasks just once in a while it will lag a little but not alot you can get rid of that easily by just clearing your tasks. It looks beautiful performs amazing and unlike 6.1 its very finger friendly you can see that in the video i posted. I have been using it for a short period of time but i can say with confidence that its the best OS i have used on my HTC Diamond so far lets hope Windows Mobile 7  is even better, I cant wait to use it after using the 6.5.3 and thanks to XDA for making it happen.

Hey there my dear visitors today I decided to review the HTC Diamond and of course in this small concise review I will tell you how it’s better then the iPhone. HTC Diamond is a great phone, I have been using it for a while and it has been a great experience, I love the fact it’s so flexible I can do so much on this phone thanks to windows mobile, I usually find any application that I can think of and this makes me a happy Htc user for example months back  when I got this Phone I was wondering if I can view flash content on this phone and I searched the web a little and I found out about the skyfire browser and of course it practically supports all type of content on the web which made me happy. my point here is that there are so many applications not just any application useful applications out there for this phone again thanks to windows mobile OS; on the other hand we have this device called the iPhone, its shit expensive plus its good for nothing at all the apps are limited and they are useless all it does is look good it’s like a model without a brain. Like always I don’t hate iPhone but I do believe it’s a waste of my valuable money. Point is don’t waste your money and don’t buy the iPhone there are many better options out there, for example htc hero, htc touch HD2, Nexus one and many more.

VS?

sspecs_dimensions_20090608

I watched a video recently on iPhone vs Nexus One which talks about how iPhone is in the same league as the Nexus One (google phone), hwo the companies are competing against each other through these phones, and this  grinds my gears because its comparing two phones that shouldn’t be compared, now you might ask me why well answer to that question is that iPhone is half of what Nexus is specs wise.  iPhone is(was) a great phone but you cant give it so much credit or so much hype that it seems like the god of all cellphones out there. I know after reading this iPhone fans might go crazy but its the truth, let me lay out some facts to make it easier for people to understand what i am getting at.

Nexus One iPhone 3gs
Size and weight

  • Height             119mm

We can see from the data above that Nexus One is better then iPhone in many ways, i have no clue why people even compare these two phones, iPhone is no where close to Nexus One. some of you might argue about the capacity issue, and answer to that is that expandable is always better period.

I don’t hate iPhone or Apple its just irratating seeing people compare every thing with the iPhone, iPhone is not the GOD of the mobile devices, sure it revolutionized the mobile devices but it does not mean its better then every other phone out there. (Apple did not invent multi-touch)
