As we know not many new wm roms are being released but still there are few chefs who are still at it and giving us new wm6 roms .

This new rom just came out and I have been using it for almost 2 days, and i have to say this rom is really smooth and GREAT on battery life ( love it). So far I had no issues with this rom and if i do i will update this post.

Get android on your HTC devices thanks to people over at XDA. i have been using it for few days now and its not all that bad yes its a buggy but its in development stage for example the battery dies pretty fast and heats up, but other than that its fun to use and hey its not laggy so try it out and best of luck to you.

Thanks to yozgatg at XDA there is a new ROM out that allows you to have both Android and Windows Mobile (dual boot). Its great to see that now we can boot android and windows mobile, its a great working concept we can expect better in the near future, from what i have read so far that  its a little buggy but hell this is amazing! iI am in the process of downloading by the way if you are planning to flash it do MTTY.

XDANDROID

Bringing you the first all-in-one, dual-boot diamond rom with XDANDROID. This ROM features a very light & optimized Gen.Y WM 6.1 core (which is accesible, more about that below) & the latest version of XDANDROID v2.1 (27.01.2010 at the launch of R0)

This is an all-in-one ROM, meaning it already has XDANDROID cooked in, which is installed and configured during the first boot.
The second boot, u get the custom Gen.Y DualBOOT (made by myself), which allows u to boot into windows (to update the android build, testing, etc.) or boot directly into android using haret. (more info below)

I know XDANDROID is not yet perfect, but this is more of a proof-of-concept ROM, showing that it will be possible to replace WM on the Diamond.

I have used the new official ROM (Jan, 1, 2010) by HTC and its by far the best i have used so far. It has memory usage of 52% at startup and remains close to that number even after usage.

• Scroll all the way to the bottom, you will see

• Enter you Serial Number (S/N) you can find that under  your battery
• Press Download and Install (just in case have Hard SPL installed you can find that in my first post)
