Thanks to yozgatg at XDA there is a new ROM out that allows you to have both Android and Windows Mobile (dual boot). Its great to see that now we can boot android and windows mobile, its a great working concept we can expect better in the near future, from what i have read so far that its a little buggy but hell this is amazing! iI am in the process of downloading by the way if you are planning to flash it do MTTY.
XDANDROID
Bringing you the first all-in-one, dual-boot diamond rom with XDANDROID. This ROM features a very light & optimized Gen.Y WM 6.1 core (which is accesible, more about that below) & the latest version of XDANDROID v2.1 (27.01.2010 at the launch of R0)
This is an all-in-one ROM, meaning it already has XDANDROID cooked in, which is installed and configured during the first boot.
The second boot, u get the custom Gen.Y DualBOOT (made by myself), which allows u to boot into windows (to update the android build, testing, etc.) or boot directly into android using haret. (more info below)
I know XDANDROID is not yet perfect, but this is more of a proof-of-concept ROM, showing that it will be possible to replace WM on the Diamond.

Alright people its time for you to edit the registry but if you have a weak heart and you think you might destroy your brand new phone, i say DO IT, no no i am joking don’t go close to it stay far far away. ok since i have scared you, its not really that hard to do all you need is a program that can edit your windows mobile device registry which can be found here its called the PHM Registry Editor v0.70 and its free, There are also other programs to edit your registry such as Resco Explorer 2008. Now the fun part i have selected sites for you guys where you can go to get some registry tweaks.
Use and perform any thing found in this post at your own risk.

A nifty little app called Montecristoff’s Tweaks allows you to tweak alot of stuff like make your sense to perform faster, turn off keyboard from popping up when you go in to sms window, also for sms are two different modes one is classic other is threaded mode so you can change that. you can also change the sensitivity of the touch screen. You can enable different type of camera modes on your htc diamond i do not know if this works on HTC HD or not but here it is, there are modes like sport mode, burst mode, GPS picture mode, and others. There are alot of little tweaks you can do with the application so don’t forget to download.

I found this app useful basically because unlike Gsen it gives me alot more options and unlike Gyrator it runs in the background you can turn it off or on. you can also do stuff like if you put your phone face down it will either turn off phone or screen will just turn off which ever one you prefer, you can also choose what programs should tilt or not. so over all its a good application.

I found this video by MysteryGuitarMan, an excellent effort by him and of course this makes me want to buy the phone now lol. I think google wins by sponsoring youtube stars to promote the Nexus one.
